Gayathri has been in touch with us as she and Sundaresan have been on their way to Kailash. She telephoned first from Khatmandoo and then from aplace called lagoo, one hour before entering Tibet. Then she telephoned from the banks of Lake Manasarovar after having a very good darshan of Kailash. After that they went on the Parikrama trip, a 56 km walk arouns a hillock there which is rather strenuous. Yesterday (8th) afternoon I got a call from Ramanathan (Sundaresan's nephew) to convey to us that they are back from the Parikrama trip. They are expected to reach home by 16th night. I am sure she will have a long account to give us with photoes.
