GANAPAATIGAL

I was listening to " Veda Saartham" cassetes rendered by students of Sri Satya Sai Institute.

It seems that there are four methods of chanting vedas and the most difficult is known as Ganapaata. Probably, that is the reason why the name Ganapaatigal came!!

On the Rudra Ekadasi day at Raju anna`s house, the vaadyar was explaining in brief , the meaning of the poojas done there. Before starting vedam chanting, he said that in vedam itself all our prayers such as long healthy life, wealth, good marriage, etc., etc., are there . And so, it is not neccessary for us to request them to God seperately.

Sarada recalls Paramacharya`s word, read in a book.
Vedam has to be learned for twelve years, in Gurukulam method. There also annual vacation will be there, and the students go home. When they come back after vacation, the classes are started with AAVANI AVITTAM.
