From Ramu

" Justice P.R.Sundaram Iyer as a member of the Madras University Syndicate, was instrumental in sending the mathematics wizard Ramanujam to Cambridge; many persons objected as he was not even a graduate, but PRS said if Cambridge was ready to accept him, why he should be denied the chance?."
" A few years ago, when I had gone to Kolkatta with friends, we came across the photograph of PRS in the Vivekananda Museum at Dakshineswar. What a surprise! We read there that PRS was associated with Vivekananda when he visited Madras."
Above is a portion of the write-up by P.V.Lakshmi, in the 9 page booklet distributed by Ashok in the get-together at Sri.Parvathi on Sunday 17th Apr 2011.
It was an excellent get-together. I shall post more details in my next.

  1. Ramu mama,
Could you get a digital version of the booklet from Ashok and post on this bog? Assuming it's all about PRS, it would make for an interesting read.
