Much has been said about Chennai and Mumbai. Most of us get used to where we live and develop an attachment for it. I loved and still love Delhi - its wide roads, its beauty (particularly that of New Delhi and that too in winter and spring), the friendliness of the people and so on. But I was certainly happy to return to Chennai. I now hate Chennai for many reasons (already mentioned by others)- the rudeness of the people, lack of consideration for others, utter disregard for laws and regulations and the all-pervading corruption. All these are signs of the decay of civilisation and one dreads to think of what may be in store in the years to come.
The Lord said "Sambhavami yugey yugey". Perhaps the time has come for another avatar to set things right.
