It is Kappu's birthday

Ramakrishnan told me this morning that today was Kappu's birthday. While she lies in bed in sickness, my mind (and I am sure those of all others in the family) goes back to the sister we have known, a person of charm, good taste and remarkable ability in whatever she put her hand to. It is very, very painful to see her in her present illness, unaware of what is going on around her and unable to convey whatever may be passing through her mind. We pray to the Almighty to reduce Kappu's suffering and to give her peace.
