Akila's Kolu looks really lovely. It is great when a daughter takes interest and participates in our traditional functions - I miss Ramya so! This year I did not keep kolu as I spent the week in Madras attending pujas at Sringeri camp. Just being there as Acharya performed the puja, 100's of Vedic pundits chanting the Rudram-chamakam-Suktams was an experience! Thanks for the wishes to Ramya and TSS - I will tell them to see the blog page :) It's already nearly time to send Diwali wishes - time sure does whizzzz past! Hare Ram Gayathri

    Thank you Gayathri akka. Oh did not know you were in town, would have invited you for the vethala paakku if you had time between the Periyava schedule
