It has been over a month now since my last post in our blog. But then, quite a lot has been happening.
My oven broke down the day before Vaishnavi's birthday. So we went in for a microwave + convection this time. I am still getting used to it. So, now my baking is at a very slow pace. I tried my hand at an almond cake and also microwave theratti paal. The almond cake was crisp on top and very soft underneath!!! I guess I need to understand the heating system better. Any tips/ideas anybody? While baking, should I keep my bakig tray on the rotating glass tray or should I remove that? I am somehow suspicious about that. The manual does not say anything about it.
We are really looking forward to our Delhi trip. This is a 3-year plan. We planned the last 2 years and booked tickets this year, haha. Hope it would be implemented too till the end (keeping fingers and toes crossed).
