Wishes and updates

Wishing August celebrants a very very happy birthday. Special wishes to Anand anna on his 50th (!!!!) birthday.

About updates, all of us are now getting ready and eagerly waiting for the festivals to begin. So am I . As a warm-up, I tried my hand at making the 7-cup sweet. Well, that's the name it's called by. Probably who-ever invented that sweet could not think of a better name. Here it is, for all e-sweet lovers

Vaishnavi had her first experience of the cinema theater last saturday. We took her to Harry potter. Ok ok, I know it is not a very kiddie movie . Here she is, eager to get into the hall.

She was a little puzzled by the whole hall being dark. When we entered the hall, we had missed the first 5 minutes of the movie. As soon as we were settled in our seats, her first question was (in no hushed tones) "appa, which channel is this running on"!!!! We had a good laugh. Then every 5 minutes she kept asking "when would they switch on the light" or it was "appa is it still day? then why is it so dark"!!!

Hope Perippa and athimbers get their phone/net connections fast. Till my next update...
