Wishing a Very Happy Birthday to Vaishnavi & Ramesh!

Vaishnavi's art is really good! Ramu C, enjoy your summer camp, hhahhaha! And I do hope you all get to go on your vacation too.
This week has been quite busy for me, that too out in the hot hot sun!
Monday, I went to Sankaralayam, Chetpet, as Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal was honouring Kailash returned yatris. My orpadi Vasanthi roped me & some more ladies as volunteers too!
Yesterday, I attended the inauguration of the Paediatric Ward at the Cancer Institute, a labour of love created by friends of Mahesh, thru the Mahesh Memorial Trust. Ravi is one of the trustees, he spoke beautifully about how this thing came to be.
Today Vasanthi had a small surgery done to her ear lobes & I was with her at the Andhra Mahila Sabha hospital.
Well, tomorrow is going to be another story. My childhood friends Uma, Prema & Annapoorni are giving a novel gift for Rajiv & Nameeta - they have arranged dinner for the inmates of Vishranti Old Age home! We will all go there by 5.30 & I have been asked to sing for about an hour to entertain them. I have selected a number of simple, mostly Tamil songs. No pakka vadyam No mike. Hope they enjoy this.

Ramya is in Delhi, rehearsing with Rama Vaidyanathan - she is singing for her dance pgms. They performed in Khajuraho on 10th. The next pgm is on 19th at Calcutta. She said she had been trying Lalitha athai's phone, but there was no response. I hope she is able to "catch" them today!!!
Prasad & family will be shifting to Kovaipudur in a week's time - can't believe that the time has already come!!!
