Thank you
Thank you Perippa, for that wonderful collage. The way you have put them together is really good!!! The function went well mainly because everybody was present. Thank you all for making it a wonderful and memorable event in our life.
B'days
Happy Birthday, Rukku athai! I have missed out many b'days in the past month, not because I did not have time, but because I had 'concert tension':):) so let me wish all the birthday and anniversary celebrators of Jan & Feb "Happy Rest of the Year", till the next year's celebrations!
While I am at it, today is rajiv's star b'day, & tomorrow I turn -should I say it - over the hill!!

Akila-Mohan's Grahapravesam
It was great attending Akila-Mohan's Grahapravesam and meeting everyone. The house is really nice, with a spacious and airy feeling. Once the entire block is ready it will become a wonerful complex, with lots of space between buildings for children to play.
Akila looked very nice in the madisar sari. We also met chitti's brother Santhanam after many years. Last but not the least, the food was great too!!
J chittappa, a collage! and here I am, unable to upload even a single photo!

Mohan and Akila celebrated the housewarming of their new apartment inVirugambakkam, Chennai yesterday, 18 February. Here is a collage of some of the pictures taken on the occasion. I was a bit too late to photograph the religious part of the occasion. I also failed to take pictures of the apartment itself!
Here's wishing Mohan, Akila and Vaishnavi all the best in their new home.

SORRY FROM RAMU
It is quite some time since I participated in the blog.
1. Birthdays of Mani, Varshaya, Priya have passed and I missed all. I am sorry. My belated wishes to them.
2. The pictures in the blog are coming very well. Pictures of Mani, Varshaya, Ramya, Ravi and Rama athaan are very nice.
3. Yes.We will miss Rama athaan. I happened to meet Rama athaan and Prathima recently at Shobha`s house. He took a long time to climb the stairs. I asked him why. He said " I have severe pain in both my legs. Only my heart is functioning well and all other parts are giving trouble. I dont know why God should keep me alive in this condition and I wonder when he will take me!!!!" And Prathima told me after his demise that he used to mention this often!!
4. After I re=joined Vestas, I go to Poonamalle factory. It is 9 PM when I return. That is the reason why I am unable to check any mail. There is internet connection available in my computer at office but we are not supposed to use it for personal use.
5. I am sorry that I am missing all birthdays and anniversaries. But it is always in my mind that I should some how wish on time. Let me try.

Our Heartfelt Condolences to Pratima and her daughters
We are very much saddened to learn about the sudden passing away of Raman on the 27th inst. When Raman and Pratima were in Ranchi, they used to visit us often at Calcutta where I was posted then. Mythili and I remember those good days. We wish to convey our sympathies to Pratima and her family members on their loss. We pray that Raman's soul may rest in peace.

Backup
Perippa, Sorry for my late response. Are you talking about the "Backup your data" option under the "Performance and Maintanence" option? If so, then that seems to be just a wizard that makes it easier for us to take a backup rather than copy files individually from the Windows Explorer. I noticed there was such an option only after you pointed it out to me :) Guess I am so used to the old ways.
