Hi!
Thanks for the b'day wishes. I returned from Muscat on Feb 15, & Sowmya too arrived on the same day. We had two days of whirlwind shopping & tailor trips. It was really nice that we could meet many of our family at Koushik's grihapravesam.
Sowmya went to KVP to be with appa mainly. She said she also met Lalitha athai-athimber there. She caught a cold, fever there unfortunately. She returned to Madras yesterday & is leaving tonight. Following up with the tailors was a pain, but due to Akila's foresight, we had given them an earlier date, so we managed to get all the stitched clothes in time!
I am getting back to my Prayas activities, and also preparing for my Bombay concert in March.

Somehow, my routine of seeing e-mail/blog in the mornings, has not taken place these days.I feel bad that we did not convey our best wishes to birthday babies of this month. I will try and get back to that routine.

I type this in Chennai where I am on a brief visit. So no access to my photographs!

On the 17th February, we were at Koushik's new apartment which had its grahapravesam that morning. It is a nice, well-planned apartment and I hope some day soon Koushik and Aishwarya will be able to live there and enjoy being in their own gruha. There was a nice gathering, including Pratima, Sobha, Gayathri, Sundaresan and - surprise! - Sowmya. Had a pleasant time followed by a good lunch.

Hello there..

Just dropped in to do a rain check and say Hello. Hope everybody's doing good. I do check the blog at times to get updates.

I am working in European timing again (that's 2pm - 10pm IST) and get back home only by about 11.30pm. By that time Vaishnavi is fast asleep. Before when I was in shift, I could be back home by about 10.30 max, so it was not so bad. Now with all the cost cutting etc, I get the cab only by about 10.30 to pick me up. So, right now am just getting used to this routine all over again.

I also noted tha passing away of Sri.S.Rajam. My mind went to K.Nagar days. He used to go that way daily in a open model Lambretta scooter.I never new his talents for a long time and when I came to know, I really was surprised, how a simple man he was! I also think about Gayathri, who was in touch with him for a long time. I do not know how she feels.
